The section presents in separate pages contemporary Bulgarian composers writing choral music, together with their outstanding predecessors of all former generations who have left lasting marks in the Bulgarian Choral Art. Each composer’s page contains biographical data, a list of selected choral works, arranged according to genre as well as chronologically, and data for contacts. More detailed information on the works can be obtained from in the Bulgarian Choral Art Section.
The names of the composers, who are also choir conductors, are marked by an asterisk (*).

The composerrs’ names have been transliterated following the rules applicable to this site, which are presented in the Home Page of the portal site.

Those names whose previous transliteration differ from that of this portal site are given in all their versions, but the information on the specific conductor is referenced to the name as written in accordance with the Rules for Transliteration presented in the portal site.
